I was a tad hesitant about buying this product as the main ingredient is saline and I thought I might be able to achieve the same result with warm salty water but my home remedy did not work and this did. My dog had red eyes of a night and goopy discharge during the day and of a morning (possibly due to an environmental allergen). This has cleared them up much to my surprise and delight!
