Directions & Dosages
Directions: Mix with your pets food and always provide clean, fresh drinking water.
Small dogs (1-10kg): 1/4 teaspoon daily.
Medium dogs (11-26kg): 1/2 teaspoon daily.
Large dogs (27-45+kg): 1 teaspoon daily.
Cats: 1/8 teaspoon daily.

Can I use this for puppies and kittens?
Yes, DigestaVite Plus is a great for puppies and kittens who are weaning and eating solid foods. It is a great way to keep their immune system strong and deliver vital nutrients as they grow.
Does it contain live bacteria?
DigestaVite Plus is a pre-biotic, which is different to a pro-biotic which often contain a small amount of good bacteria. There are millions of good bacteria within the gut, so it is important to manage their health for the health of your pet. Digestavite provides much needed fuel to your gut’s naturally occurring, healthy bacteria.
I have lost my plastic scoop; how much is one scoop?
The scoop inside our supplements is a metric teaspoon, so one scoop equals one metric teaspoon.
What is the difference between pre-biotic and pro-biotic?
A simple explanation, pro-biotics are a collection of good bacteria, living organisms, that are capable of living outside the body. People often give pro-biotics in good faith to both themselves and their pets. However, there are thousands of strains of bacteria and millions of organisms. Often the most common bacteria and delivered through pro-biotic supplements, which your pet may already have in abundance. If the gut is unhealthy, then the good bacteria can work in a negative way, feeding off vital nutrients etc. We provide a pre-biotic that works on maintaining the gut environment, which helps good bacteria to thrive. So, adding pro-biotics is always the answer if the gut and digestive system are unhealthy.
Does it contain animal based ingredients?
All the ingredients are from plant matter, except for the liver component, so this is the only product in our supplements range that is not vegan friendly. Please note, we do not promote vegan diets for cats and dogs, unless there are extreme health circumstances.
My pet had loose stools when I used this, why does this happen?
While this is not a common issue, it can occur in rare instances, depending on the diet and metabolism of your pet. DigestaVite Plus is helping to correct the digestive system and this can result in loosening of the bowels for a few days, however it shouldn’t last longer than that and only occurs on rare occasions.
Are there any fillers in this product?
No, we do not use any fillers in our products, so the dosage rates are very low.
